Jessica Bowers
Certified Obedience Instructor
Office Manager/Vet Tech
Jessica joined our team in February of 2007, after moving here from Gwinnett County. Jessica earned her animal care certification through the American Veterinary Medical Association. Wanting more land and less hustle and bustle she relocated to Buckhead. Growing up in rural Pennsylvania she has had a passion for animals since she can remember and knew someday she would make a career out of it. She moved to Georgia shortly after graduation and has been working in the animal field for over 14 years now. Eight years ago she decided she wanted to learn more about canine behavior and took on the task of becoming a certified obedience instructor. She now owns her own company, Dealing With Your Dog and offers group classes at our hospital or private lessons in your home. She enjoys educating and meeting clients and getting to know them and their pet on a personal basis. Jessica enjoys riding her horse, mountain biking, reading, and rehabilitating baby squirrels in her spare time. Jessica personally owns one friendly feline, a Border Collie Mix, and one Paint horse.

Brandi Thompson
Brandi is Dr. Prichard’s right-hand woman in the surgery and dental suites and is currently working towards certification in veterinary dentistry.  After working as a human pharmacy technician for five years, she switched species.  “I love my job and truly believe this is my calling” she says.  You will often find her behind the scenes preparing your pet for surgery, monitoring anesthesia, and assisting the doctor with dental procedures and oral operations.

Brandi is happily married and lives in the lake area with her beautiful little girl, an allergy-prone pointer, and one precocious cat named Snickers.

Vicki Mullis
As a youngster, Vicki tried to save a nest of field mice that her uncle plowed up on his dairy farm.  From that point, animals have been an integral part of her life (even though her aunt put a quick halt to the field mice as pets idea).  She’s spent a lifetime picking up animals from the side of the road, saving overheated pets from hot cars, and re-homing wayward creatures that have found themselves on her doorstep.

Vicki recently joined Oconee Regional Humane Society as they shared her love and compassion for God’s creatures, and through them, met the Park Place Animal Hospital family.  An advocate for black cats and big (and often misunderstood) dogs, Vicki finds the time to make every patient feel special.  We are so lucky to have her as part of our team!

  Veronica Griffin
Veronica is a home-grown Georgia girl.  Raised in Madison, she has lived in the lake area since 2009.  As a veterinary assistant, she enjoys not only working with animals, but the ability to help improve their lives.  Her household is a busy one!  She quips, “With a husband, young daughter, two dogs and three cats, working at Park Place Animal Hospital is a vacation away from home!”

Veterinary medicine is in her blood.  She worked for several other veterinarians before joining our team, and she hopes to continue her education and become a certified veterinary technician someday soon. Hired in July of 2012, Veronica is an excellent addition to the Park Place family. Be sure to make her welcome during your next visit!
